THE LEGACY OF JOHN LINDSEY

FOUNDING CONCERTMASTER

It’s has been a joy to play Concertmaster for this wonderful Vermont group, The Eleva Chamber Players, for 17 years. I am not retiring from playing violin by any means, but I am retiring from only this conductor-less string orchestra that stands while we play.

FOUNDING CONCERTMASTER

Effective April 1, 2025, I have resigned (NOT RETIRED) from ONNY. April 1 was my last official day as the Concertmaster and Co-founder. The past 37 years have been a special rewarding time for me playing much magnificent repertoire, playing orchestral chamber music with many of my colleagues, and serving as Concertmaster (or as the British call my position the "Leader") of the orchestra. I will very much miss those aspects of being ONNY’s Concertmaster.
